Objective:Students will learn about how animation teams plan their projects through storyboards and make a storyboard for their own project.
Activities:
View the poweerpoint presentation embedded below. A Storyboard is like a comic strip. It helps you plan out what kind of shots you need to make for your animation. You draw the image of the kind of shot that you would like to use and write any dialogue or action down below. Some storyboards are less formal and are drawn on separate cards so they can be rearranged. You will make an animation with your group based on one image by Magritte. Use the image to help you decide what happened before or after what is in the image. Be sure to write how many frames it will take to make each section of the movie. Remember, each second of the movie takes 15 frames (pictures). Storyboards
